The Third Annual Starry Starry Night Gala Dinner took place on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at Chaparral Country Club, in Palm Desert, California. The three day extravaganza preceeded with a Daphne & Bil Foundation reception on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at Lavender Bistro in La Quinta, California. The hosts Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti also welcomed guests for a Sunday Brunch at their Desert Horisons Country Club in Indian Wells, on Februayr 1st, 2026.
The event raised funds for Moores Cancer Center at the University of California. During the Gala-Dinner, three UCSD Health member received awards. Also, the organizers awarded four recipients with plaques.

The Second Annual Starry Starry Night Gala Dinner took place on March 2nd, 2025, Sunday, at Chaparral Country Club, in Palm Desert California.
Christopher Macchio, an American tenor who specializes in classical crossover music, performed.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attended with his actress wife Cheryl Hines, alongside other Hollywood personalities, dignitaries, and patrons.
The event raised funds for Moores Cancer Center at University of California San Diego Health.
Five doctors from University of San Diego received “Angel of Life” awards. Presenters included four TV and film stars, one singer, and one radio host.
City Council of Las Vegas, Mayor included, and Nevada State Senator Jeff Stone issued two separate proclamation, recognizing the charitable work of organizers, the event, and Game Changer Event Series, LLC.

Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti hosted their Second Annual Starry Starry Night in California, again with their youngest of three rescued “family members” Ali, aka AlAl but also Little.
PROCLAMATIONS
Las Vegas Councilwoman Victoria Seaman, one of seven signatories to this proclamation, including Mayor Shelly Berkley, attended the March 2nd, 2025 Gala-Dinner and read the proclamation on stage before presenting to Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti.
Nevada State Senator Jeff Stone also issued a separate proclamation, representing Nevada State for the same purpose, recognizing the work of the organizers and the importance of these efforts in the fight to Make America Healthy Again.
